What a beautiful, haunting experience all around, always melts me from start to finish. Incredible and deep sound, amazing atmosphere and cohesion, unexpected jazz elements unlike anything I've heard, and don't get me started on the vocals. Really hard to choose a favorite track. dan-rod

The question from Bandcamp is, "Why do you love this album?" I think it can be summarized in a single sentence: This is unapologetic, balls-to-the-wall rock that grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go. In other words, it's High on Fire. peter_nielsen

Blackbraid quickly followed up their 2022 debut in 2023 with more native folk infused furious black metal. This is by no means a sophomore slump as it is equally excellent, methodical, melodical, and approachable as the first record. 9/10 RJ
