Metal-ur-G Opening track "Giants" is what I imagine Pro-Pain would have sounded like if they made death metal. Enormously fun to listen to this grooving slab of moshpit-inducing heaviness. Favorite track: Giants.

H.L. When I listen to death metal I appreciate the groovy style á la Bolt Thrower or early Six Feet Under as this really thrills and moves me. Now I can add GRACELESS to that little list as well as their massive and doomy death metal spreads the same intensity. Besides the mentioned references I sometimes also think at Gorefest or Alastis. A really great mixture and a monolithic album full of hits, just listen to the opener "Giants" or the title track to be overrun as well by this sonic tank! Favorite track: Giants.

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.
